North Carolina Environmental Management Commission announces November meetings in Raleigh

The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission is scheduled to meet on November 12 and 13 at the Archdale Building in Raleigh. The public can attend these meetings either in person or virtually by computer or phone.

Committee meetings will take place on November 12, starting at 9 a.m. Eastern Time, followed by the full commission meeting on November 13 at the same time and location. Details about the agendas and supporting documents are available on the Commission’s website.

The Environmental Management Commission has the responsibility of adopting rules aimed at protecting, preserving, and enhancing North Carolina’s air and water resources. It also oversees rulemaking for several divisions within the Department of Environmental Quality, including Air Quality, Land Resources, Waste Management, and Water Resources.
