The North Carolina Oil and Gas Commission is scheduled to hold a meeting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in Raleigh. The session will take place in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building at 512 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC.

The Oil and Gas Commission holds responsibility for setting rules regarding oil and gas exploration within North Carolina. It also regulates well spacing for exploration activities, determines areas where drilling may occur, and has authority to limit production from oil and gas operations.
