Residents interested in Pilates can join a new class at the Five Points Center for Active Adults. The sessions, led by instructor Lawrence Bivins, will focus on strengthening the core, improving posture, and increasing flexibility through a full-body Pilates workout.

Participants will use controlled movements and focused breathing to develop muscle tone and enhance body awareness. The instructor will offer modifications and progressions to accommodate different fitness levels.

The classes are scheduled for Fridays beginning in November, from 10:15 to 11 a.m., and are open to adults aged 18 and older. The cost for the month of November is $9. Registration can be completed online using RecLink.
