Amazon Prime Video is expanding its streaming offerings in November with a variety of new original series, films, and live sports events.
A major highlight for the month is the premiere of “Playdate,” starring Kevin James as Brian, an unemployed accountant who finds himself in unexpected danger during a playdate with another father, played by Alan Ritchson. The story quickly shifts from a casual afternoon to a tense escape from mercenaries.
Other Amazon Originals debuting include “Nice to Not Meet You,” launching November 3. This Korean romantic comedy follows Lim Hyeon-jun (Lee Jung-jae) and Wi Jeong-sin (Lim Ji-yeon) as they navigate career changes and unexpected romance. On November 5, “Tyler Perry’s Finding Joy” arrives, featuring Shannon Thornton as Joy, a New York fashion designer searching for success in both her professional and personal life.
“Maxton Hall,” returning on November 7 for its second season, continues to build on its status as Prime Video’s most-watched International Original series. The show explores themes of love, friendship, and betrayal at Maxton Hall Private School.
Additional releases include the revenge thriller “Malice” on November 14; animated series “Bat-Fam” from DC and Warner Bros. Animation on November 10; unscripted workplace series “June Farms” on November 17; fantasy adventure “The Mighty Nein” on November 19; and comedian Kathleen Madigan’s special “The Family Thread” on November 21.
Prime Video will also stream a wide range of live sports throughout the month. NBA matchups such as Houston Rockets vs. San Antonio Spurs (November 7), Golden State Warriors vs. Denver Nuggets (November 7), and several others are scheduled for Friday nights. The platform will broadcast NWSL quarterfinals, ONE Championship fights including Kryklia vs. Agdeve (November 7) and Superbon vs. Noiri (November 15), along with multiple Seattle Kraken NHL games throughout the month.
Thursday Night Football games continue weekly in November with teams like the Las Vegas Raiders facing the Denver Broncos (November 6) and Chicago Bears meeting the Philadelphia Eagles (November 28).
In music programming, Season 4 of Amazon Music Live features Fuerza Regida and aespa performing live from Los Angeles after Thursday Night Football games via Prime Video, Twitch, and the Amazon Music app. Liza Koshy returns as social host for these events. Additionally, Amazon will exclusively livestream Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on November 15–16 through Twitch, Prime Video, and the Amazon Music app.
The full list of movies coming to Prime Video includes titles such as “A Beautiful Mind,” “Good Will Hunting,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Mamma Mia!,” among others.
