The trailer for the upcoming action comedy “Playdate” has been released by Prime Video. The film stars Kevin James as Brian, an unemployed accountant who expects a simple afternoon playdate with another father, Jeff, played by Alan Ritchson. Instead, the two find themselves pursued by a group of mercenaries.
The cast also includes Sarah Chalke, Alan Tudyk, Stephen Root, and Isla Fisher. Luke Greenfield directs the film, with Neil Goldman credited as the writer.
“Playdate” will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting Wednesday, November 12. Access to Prime Video is included in an Amazon Prime membership, which costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year.
