Pullen Park announces summer carousel challenge for all ages starting May 1

The City of Raleigh announced on Apr. 23 the launch of the Pullen Park Carousel Challenge, which will run from May 1 through Aug. 31. The event invites participants of all ages to ride each of the ten different animals on the historic Dentzel carousel at Pullen Park and collect stamps to earn a prize.

The challenge aims to engage community members in a family-friendly activity during the summer months. To participate, visitors can pick up a checklist at the carousel building, ride each animal, and receive a stamp from staff after every ride. Once all ten animals have been ridden and stamped, participants can turn in their completed checklist for a prize. Each ride requires one ticket, which costs $2.
