Pullen Park to host free outdoor movie series from June to October

The City of Raleigh announced on May 8 that Pullen Park will host a series of free outdoor movie nights this summer and fall. The screenings are scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month, beginning in June and running through October.

The event invites families, friends, and film enthusiasts of all ages to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy movies on the park’s event lawn. All screenings are open to the public at no cost, with refreshments and popcorn available for purchase at the Pullen CafĂ©. Organizers note that film showings depend on weather conditions; any cancellations will be posted on the Raleigh Parks website.

The line-up includes “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants” (2025) on June 2 at 7 p.m., “National Treasure” (2004) on July 7 at 7 p.m., an August selection yet to be announced, “Wicked” (2024) on September 1 at 6 p.m., and “Toy Story 5” (2026) closing out the season on October 6 at 6 p.m.
