The City of Raleigh is transitioning to a new software system to manage agendas, documents, and recordings for public meetings. This change aims to enhance the user experience with a platform that looks different and works more efficiently. The transition is expected to have minimal impact on how residents interact with meeting materials.

Starting July 1, eScribe will replace BoardDocs for City Council meetings. Accessing the new meeting management tool remains unchanged. Residents can continue visiting the same webpage or searching “City Council” as before. eScribe will be integrated directly into the city’s website, making it readily accessible.

Over the course of the year, Raleigh plans to expand eScribe’s use to include more boards, commissions, and committees. Until then, meeting materials for these bodies will still be available on BoardDocs.

The city appreciates residents’ patience during this transition period.
