The City of Raleigh has announced a career fair and two virtual information sessions aimed at offering professional growth opportunities, networking, and exploration of careers in local government.

The RecruitMilitary Raleigh Veterans Job Fair is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the TowneBank Center in Raleigh, NC. This event allows job seekers with military experience to connect with recruiters from both local and national companies. It is free for U.S. veterans, military spouses, transitioning military personnel, and members of the Guard and Reserve. Attendees can build networks, make new contacts, and find potential job leads.

In addition to the job fair, the City of Raleigh will host virtual information sessions on Thursday, September 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday, November 5 from noon to 1 p.m. These sessions are designed to help job seekers explore career opportunities across various city departments such as Finance, Parks and Recreation, Vehicle Fleet Services, among others. Participants will learn about full-time and part-time roles along with benefits like flexible schedules, tuition reimbursement, and health programs. Breakout rooms will be available for attendees to delve into specific job duties and ask questions.

These events offer valuable chances for individuals starting new careers or exploring part-time options within the City of Raleigh.
