Concerts at Fred Fletcher Park, located at 805 Washington Street in Raleigh, are set for May 31 (SWAG), June 7 (Blue Notes Jazz Band), June 14 (Carpe Diem Saxophone Quartet), August 2 (The Holly Springs Community Band), and August 9 (Triangle Sax Ensemble). The final concert will take place at Pullen Park, 520 Ashe Ave., on August 16 with Bull City Trio.
All concerts run from 6 to 8 p.m. and are open to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. While admission is free, tips for performers are welcome. At Pullen Park, food can be purchased at the café; guests attending events at Fletcher Park should bring their own food and beverages. Pullen Park amusements remain open until the end of each concert evening.
