Additional offerings include food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and more.

A blood drive will also be held during the event. Donors who participate in the blood drive will receive a gift card as a thank you gesture.

City operations are managed by an elected city council supported by a city manager overseeing public services and budget matters according to information from the city manager’s office and city council official website. The City serves districts A through E in North Carolina as per its official website, and has recently influenced local policy through ordinances such as changes made in 2024 to election terms according to its official website.
