The City of Raleigh is set to launch a new online portal called Ask Raleigh (beta) on July 1. This platform aims to simplify the process for residents to request services, report issues, and seek assistance from the city. Ask Raleigh will replace the current SeeClickFix tool and promises improvements in speed, intelligence, and user-friendliness.

The introduction of Ask Raleigh marks the beginning of a broader strategy to enhance customer service across the city. The platform allows users to track their requests in real-time, avoid duplicate reports by notifying if an issue has already been reported, and alerts users if a problem falls outside city limits. Additionally, it features enhanced maps and a simplified interface for easier reporting.

This initiative is part of the city’s new Customer Experience strategy, which plans further expansion with the opening of a new City Hall in 2027. According to city officials, this step aims to create a more connected and responsive environment where every department contributes to excellent service delivery.

The beta version of Ask Raleigh will be used initially to gather feedback from early users and ensure optimal system performance. Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for July 1 as they prepare to engage with this new platform.
