Raleigh’s Community Engagement Department is set to collaborate with A Place at the Table for a series of monthly events titled “Coffee and Conversations.” The initiative will begin on July 12, 2025, and aims to provide an open platform for discussions on various significant topics.

The inaugural session will focus on Disability Pride Month, featuring guests from the Alliance of Disability Advocates. These gatherings are designed to foster friendly and welcoming environments where participants can engage in open dialogue without a fixed agenda. The goal is to create opportunities for listening, sharing, and learning from one another.

The first event will take place at A Place at the Table, located at 300 W Hargett St Unit 50 in Raleigh, NC. It is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
