The City of Raleigh is offering two upcoming classes in Spanish for adults interested in aquatic exercise and pottery. The events are part of the Active Older Adults Program.

A water safety class and aquatic exercise demonstration will take place at the Pullen Aquatics Center, located at 401 Ashe Ave, Raleigh, NC 27606. This event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a swimsuit, sandals, and a towel. Lunch will be provided, and participants can learn more about the offerings at the center.

A ceramics class will be held at the Pullen Arts Center at 105 Pullen Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607 on Friday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own pottery pieces and are advised to wear clothes suitable for getting dirty. Lunch will also be provided during this session.

Both events aim to engage older adults in creative and physical activities while providing information about resources available through city centers.
