The City of Raleigh is offering Fall Mountain Bike Basics Clinics at Forest Ridge Park for those interested in learning mountain biking skills. The clinics will be held on Saturdays—August 23, September 13, October 18, and November 1—with sessions running from 9 to 11 a.m., except for the November session, which will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.

Participants must be at least 14 years old. Each clinic includes small group instruction, skills practice, and a trail ride. Bikes and helmets are provided by the program. Upon successful completion of the course, participants become eligible for the Bike Loaner Program at Forest Ridge Park.

Preregistration is required for these clinics, and residents can register through RecLink. The cost is $26 for Raleigh residents.
