Scott Lehtonen, Executive Director of the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA), emphasized the importance of Government Communicators Day. He said, “For 364 days of the year, these professionals work tirelessly behind the scenes, and on this day, we aim to bring them into the spotlight they deserve.”

The Raleigh Parks Communications team is an integral part of the city’s efforts to connect, engage, and inspire the community through marketing and communications. They work diligently to share the benefits of Raleigh Parks with the public through various channels, including social media campaigns, newsletters, and press releases. She acknowledged the crucial role government communicators play in spearheading public outreach and education campaigns, crafting media advisories, and formulating strategic responses during crises.
