The Raleigh Police Department participated in the 2025 John Wall Family Reunion Backpack Giveaway, which took place on Saturday, August 9, at Roberts Park Community Center. The event was organized by the John Wall Family Foundation and aimed to provide school supplies to K–12 students in Raleigh.

Families who attended the free, pre-registered event received backpacks, lunch boxes, and other school supplies for their children. One ticket per student was required to receive the free supplies. The event also included family games and local vendors.

“The Raleigh Police Department was honored to stand alongside the Foundation and other community partners to help distribute backpacks, lunch boxes, and school supplies to K–12 students, ensuring they are equipped and ready for the new school year.”

According to the Raleigh Police Department, their participation is part of an ongoing effort to engage with youth and build stronger relationships within the community. “The Raleigh Police Department’s involvement reflects our ongoing commitment to community outreach, youth engagement, and building lasting relationships with the families we serve.”
