Join a local naturalist for a walking tour at Lake Wheeler to explore spring ephemeral plants. Participants will have the opportunity to identify early spring growth on the trails. Note-taking materials and identification guides will be available, though attendees can bring their own supplies if desired. It is advised to dress appropriately for varied terrain.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 22, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at Lake Wheeler Park. The class is open to individuals aged 18 and older, with a participation fee of $5. Interested participants are encouraged to register soon via RecLink as spots are limited.
