City of Raleigh issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
The Raleigh Neighborhood Exchange is an annual event hosted by the Neighborhood Enrichment Services Division designed to increase neighbor-to-neighbor participation and cultivate our neighborhoods from the inside out.
Join us at Lions Park Community Center on Friday, Sept. 23 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. to attend the free, family-friendly event! This year’s theme is “Talent in the Park,” and the goal is to help discover all the gifts and strengths that live in the neighborhood and broader Raleigh community.
Activities include youth sports clinics, talent and magic shows, a free movie showing of Sing 2, and more! The first 200 people to attend will also receive a free meal ticket for a variety of food trucks that will be available.
