County of Franklin issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.
Duke Energy has scheduled a temporary power outage affecting the Town of Louisburg and some costumers outside of the town to begin at 11:59 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 to 4:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022. Service will be interrupted for up to four hours and it is expected to be restored by 4 a.m.
If the scheduled work can not proceed, Duke Energy has planned a backup time for the following week Friday, November 4, 2022 to Saturday November 5, 2022 during the same time frame.
Duke Energy Progress customers are not anticipated to be impacted however, customers may receive a notification if that changes.
