A special event is set to take place in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The community is invited to participate in a Pink Out Celebration in the Park on October 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This gathering aims to bring people together to raise awareness and show support for breast cancer survivors and those currently battling the disease.
The event will feature various activities such as live music, entertainment, food trucks, local vendors, inspirational speeches, and survivor stories. Organizers encourage attendees to wear pink clothing or accessories as a sign of solidarity and support.
The celebration will be held at the Sgt. Courtney T. Johnson Community Center and is open to all ages with no cost for attendance.
"We invite you to join us for a Pink Out Celebration in the Park," stated organizers. "Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those affected by breast cancer."
