The City of Raleigh has announced a contest inviting participants to design stickers that highlight the importance of stormwater systems. The aim is to create awareness about how these systems help in moving water to creeks, streams, and rivers while emphasizing water quality protection and flood prevention.
Participants are encouraged to use a provided sticker template for their designs. Once completed, submissions should be photographed and sent through the online sticker application. Winning designs will be showcased at outreach events across Raleigh.
Some prompts offered to inspire creativity include "Water connects us," "Water is life," "Clean pipes, clean rivers," "Prevent pollution. Protect nature," "Stop. Think. Recycle," and "Turn around, don't drown."
The contest is open to all grade levels with a submission deadline set for Friday, November 22.
