Lake Lynn Park is offering a youth basketball training program designed for children aged 8 to 12. The initiative aims to provide an in-depth system for skill acquisition and development through deliberate practice and game-specific movements.

The program focuses on preparing young players' bodies for the athletic demands of basketball, enhancing their confidence, and improving their on-court intelligence. Participants will learn how to use their training to foster creativity during games and develop unique perspectives on the sport.

This training combines individual skill work with team skills development, catering to players of all levels—new, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The goal is to build strong fundamentals as a foundation for more advanced basketball training.

Sessions will be held at Lake Lynn Park on Mondays or Saturdays from November 9th to December 16th. Available time slots are from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. or from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., with costs ranging between $21 and $46. Interested participants can register through RecLink.
