The City of Raleigh is set to launch its E-Bike Rebate Program, which will be available from Monday, October 28 to Sunday, November 10. The initiative aims to provide 150 vouchers to residents of Raleigh for the purchase of new e-bikes.
There are two categories of vouchers, each offering 75 vouchers. The standard voucher offers a redeemable value of $500 and is open to any permanent resident of Raleigh aged 18 or older. The second category is the income-adjusted voucher, valued at $1,500. This voucher is specifically for applicants who qualify for the standard voucher and meet an income threshold set by the program.
To be eligible for the income-adjusted voucher, applicants must have an annual income at or below 80 percent of the area median income (AMI) in Raleigh.
Recipients of the vouchers will be selected through a random-selection process conducted by a third-party vendor.
