Raleigh Water has announced a toy drive to support children in the western part of North Carolina who have been affected by Hurricane Helene. The organization is seeking donations to help bring joy to these children during the holiday season.

According to Raleigh Water, "Every donation, big or small, can bring joy and smiles to children who may otherwise go without this holiday season." The goal is to collect as many toys as possible and the organization encourages individuals to share information about the drive with friends, family, and social networks.

The collection period runs from now until December 13. Donations can be dropped off at 5380 Raynor Rd, Garner. Alternatively, donors can contact Michael Carpenter at michael.carpenter@raleighnc.gov to arrange for pickup.

Raleigh Water specifies that donated items should be new, unwrapped toys suitable for children of all ages.
