Raleigh announces travel program to Athens and Greek Islands

Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin, City of Raleigh | City of Raleigh - Government

The City of Raleigh is organizing a nine-day trip to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini from October 7 to 15, 2025. This journey promises an exploration of Greece's rich history and culture. Participants will visit landmarks in Athens such as the Acropolis, Parthenon, Acropolis Museum, Ancient Olympic Stadium, Plaka, and Syntagma Square. The itinerary also includes a guided tour of Delos Island in Mykonos and a visit to a local winery in Santorini.

An informational meeting will be held at the Anne Gordon Center for Active Adults on January 14 at 10:30 a.m., February 13 at 4:30 p.m., and March 4 at 10:30 a.m. Interested individuals can register for the Adult Programs Trip through RecLink.
