Sunflower field at Dix Park flourishes after recent rains

All the recent rain has positively impacted the sunflower field at Dix Park, where more than 125,000 sunflower seeds were planted across five acres. The field is designed to serve as a pollinator habitat, and after blooming, the seeds will be left for birds and other wildlife to consume during the fall season.
