The Tarboro Road Community Center will hold a monthly pop-up roller skating session on Sunday, August 17, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The event is for adults aged 18 and older and will take place at Tarboro Road Park. Attendees are required to bring their own skates.

A live DJ will play old-school R&B, hip-hop, and funk music during the session. The center encourages skaters of all experience levels to participate.

Registration is available in person at the community center’s front desk or through RecLink. There is no cost to attend.

According to organizers, “We’re building a safe, inclusive roller skating community where everyone can have fun and help foster a vibrant, healthy roller skating culture here in the Triangle!”
