Embracing the spirit of giving this Christmas season, a call has been made to remember the true essence of the holiday: selfless giving, sharing with those in need, and spreading happiness. The community is encouraged to contribute through acts of kindness or larger gestures, as donations are now being accepted.

The message emphasizes opening hearts to the less fortunate and extending compassion to everyone. This approach not only honors the spirit of Christmas but also strengthens community bonds.

A Toy Drive Giveaway is scheduled at the Sgt. Courtney T. Johnson Center on Saturday, December 21, from noon to 2 p.m. It is open for children aged 5-14 and is free with no registration required.
