The 2026 Toyota Tundra is introducing a series of updates and enhancements aimed at improving style and driving experience. The Tundra, known for its blend of rugged capability, luxurious comfort, and advanced technology, remains a top choice for drivers seeking versatility and performance.

The Capstone grade now features an updated interior with Shale Premium Textured leather-trimmed seats. The Limited grade will transition to leather-trimmed seats in black and grey, with new patterns featuring contrasting stitching.

For the TRD Pro, optional ISO Dynamic seats are now available, similar to those in the Tacoma TRD Pro. Power running boards will be offered on Platinum and 1794 TRD Off-Road Package models. Additionally, the SX Package will come with 20” wheels.

To improve rear passenger comfort, double cab models will include air vents on the rear center console. All grades with single-zone climate control will have the smartflow management system.

All Tundra models now come with a standard 32.2-gallon fuel tank, eliminating smaller options. A tow hitch and 7/4 pin connector are also standard across all models.

The TRD Pro grades introduce a new color option called Wave Maker for the 2026 model year.

The Tundra offers powerful powertrains: a twin-turbo V6 engine and a hybrid twin-turbo V6. Both engines pair with a 10-speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission (ECTi). The i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain delivers 437 net combined horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 583 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,400 rpm.

Off-road capabilities are enhanced with features like Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, Downhill Assist Control, an electronically locking rear differential, and Multi-Terrain Monitor on TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road Package-equipped models.

Assembled exclusively at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas in San Antonio, the Tundra uses high-strength steel throughout its chassis to increase rigidity while incorporating aluminum in key areas to reduce weight.

All Tundras come equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 (TSS 2.5), which includes several advanced safety features such as Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC).

Toyota’s Audio Multimedia system is featured in the third-gen Tundra. It includes an intuitive Human Machine Interface (HMI) through sight, touch, and voice activation via an available 14-inch touchscreen or standard 8-inch touchscreen.

Toyota provides a comprehensive warranty package for the Tundra alongside ToyotaCare—a plan covering factory-scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance for two years or up to 25,000 miles.
