The Toyota Sequoia is set to receive a series of updates for its 2026 model, focusing on enhancing both interior luxury and vehicle performance. The Capstone grade now features Shale Premium Textured leather-trimmed seats, while the Limited grade will transition to leather-trimmed seats with new patterns. Power folding third-row seats are now standard across all grades.

A new exclusive color, Wave Maker, will be available for the TRD Pro grade. Front seat passengers can enjoy massaging leather-trimmed seats with 10-way power adjustment and integrated massage functions in certain models.

All 2026 Sequoias will come equipped with the hybrid i-FORCE MAX powertrain, offering 437 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. of torque. This powertrain is designed for efficiency and heavy-duty performance. The Sequoia will be available in both 2WD and part-time 4WD configurations.

For off-road enthusiasts, the TRD Pro models feature enhancements like Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, Downhill Assist Control, and an electronically locking rear differential. These features are aimed at improving off-pavement exploration capabilities.

The latest Toyota Audio Multimedia system will be featured in the Sequoia, controlled via an 8-inch or optional 14-inch touchscreen. It includes voice activation capabilities through “Hey Toyota” commands and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Safety features include Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 as standard on all grades, which incorporates systems such as Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, Road Sign Assist, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking, and a Rear Seat Reminder system.

Toyota’s warranty covers various components under different terms including a basic new-vehicle warranty of three years or 36,000 miles and a five-year powertrain warranty up to 60,000 miles. Additionally, ToyotaCare offers factory-scheduled maintenance for two years or up to 25,000 miles along with roadside assistance.

Toyota has been active in North America for nearly seven decades and is involved in sustainable mobility advancements through its extensive dealership network.
