A recent visit to the Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility in Raleigh featured a special guest from the Water Research Foundation. Alice Fulmer, director of subscribers at the foundation, joined Raleigh Water staff for discussions on advancing water research and collaboration.

“We’re all water nerds here,” said Fulmer during her presentation. The meeting included updates from the Water Research Foundation, which focuses on improving water quality through scientific research. Discussions centered around using research to enhance water services.

The day concluded with a tour of the facility, including a look at its Bioenergy Project. The event was an opportunity for shared learning between Raleigh Water and Fulmer.
