Five Points Center for Active Adults is offering a watercolor class aimed at senior art enthusiasts of all experience levels. The class will cover the basics of watercolor, including an introduction to paper, brushes, and other supplies. Techniques involving texture, value, line, space, shape, and form will be demonstrated by the instructor. Students will also learn about the color wheel and how to apply these elements to create original artwork.
Participants are required to bring their own supplies. A list of necessary materials is available online or at the Five Points front desk. The class is scheduled on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and is open to individuals aged 18 and older. The cost for the course is $33, and registration can be completed through RecLink.
