Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on Aug. 25.
Construction crews are currently conducting blasting in the Town of Morrisville at the following locations:
Westbound ramp to I-40 from Airport Blvd. – at approximately 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The permit for this location is set to expire September 1.
Thornbury Construction site, west side of Morrisville-Carpenter Rd., between Town Hall Dr. and Star Magnolia Dr. This site has three blasts per day:
9 to 10 a.m.
12 to 1 p.m.
2 to 3 p.m.
The permit for this location is set to expire October 16. However, if there are no delays the approximate completion of the blasting will be September 1.
You may hear additional noise in these areas during the times of blasting.
