Town Of Knightdale issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, Wake Tech is teaming up with Activate Good, Wake County, Raleigh-Apex NAACP, Raleigh Village East, and Deiter Mediation, to make it easier than ever to get your COVID-19 shot and check out some of the latest job opportunities!
Your Summer Shot Pop-Up Spot + Job Board
Wake Tech Beltline Education Center
3200 Bush Street
September 1
3 – 7 p.m.
Anyone who gets the first or second dose of the vaccine at the event will get a cash prize and be entered into a drawing for AirPods! If you bring someone to get the vaccine, you also get a cash prize! This is open to employees, students, and the public.
A job board will be on-site for attendees to learn about jobs openings in the area.
No appointment is needed. First and second doses of Pfizer and Moderna as well as the single dose of Johnson & Johnson will be available. For those receiving your first shot, Wake County will assist in setting up an apportionment for your second dose.

The shot is free with or without insurance. However, if you have insurance, bring your insurance card. No identification is needed.
