TOWN OF KNIGHTDALE: Key Updates From the Town Council Meeting

Update

Town of Knightdale issued the following announcement on Apr. 18.

We wanted to provide you some key updates from the Town Council Meeting held last night:

The Council recognized eight new members of the Knightdale Fire Department: Michael Carr, William Densmore, Blake Ellis, Xavier Manning, Anthony Parrinello, Michael Sok, Brad Wester and Kendall Whitley

Mayor Day presented her proclamation for the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge, which helps cities and communities engage in monarch butterfly and pollinator conservation.

Assistant Town Manager Dustin Tripp presented updates on the Food Truck Zoning Text Amendment ZTA-1-22, which introduces modifications to allow food trucks to more easily operate in our town. The Council will continue considerations and determine the new regulations at next month’s Town Council Meeting.

The Council also approved and adopted the Knightdale Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which lays out the strategies and recommendations for the Town’s recreation facilities, programs, park renovations and upgrades.

We will continue to update Knightdale citizens on Council meetings and ongoing conversations that pertain to the community.
