City of Raleigh issued the following announcement on Apr. 27.
Given the rise in COVID cases and some recent exposures to COVID, the Raleigh City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, will now be held virtually out of an abundance of caution.
Public comment during the 1 p.m. meeting and the 7 p.m. meeting will be conducted remotely. Individuals who wish to speak during public comment at the May 3rd meeting need to sign up by 5:00 p.m. Monday, May 2. You can call the City Clerk’s Office at 919-996-3040 if you have questions on how to proceed.
All public hearings will be continued to a future date. The date(s) will be determined during Tuesday's meeting and will be updated on the City's website.
Raleigh City Council meetings are broadcast on the City's website, YouTube, and RTN 11. If you are unable to access via TV or web, please contact communications@raleighnc.gov or 919-996-3040 to get instructions for listening via phone.
