Raleigh Parks is partnering with NC Harm Reduction Coalition to bring you free Opioid Overdose Training. Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose by administering Naloxone (nasal spray application brand name Narcan™) which can block the effects of an opioid overdose. 

Here is what you need to know before you go

  • Date & Time:  Tuesday, Nov. 7, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
  • Location: Marsh Creek Community Center, Room 105
  • Address: 3050 N New Hope Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604
  • Ages: 18 and older
  • Cost: Free
  • Registration: Registration is now open.  Claim your spot now!
Note: PRCR prides itself in providing inclusive spaces for community members to engage and exchange ideas. Some content in this training will include topics such as overdose, mental health, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) that some may find unsettling. We encourage all attendees to be mindful of their individual emotional needs and request support from facility staff if necessary.

Before You Travel to the Training

  • Do not attend the training if you are feeling ill.
  • Please arrive arrival 5 minutes before the beginning of the training.
  • Restroom facilities will be available.
