Get outside with Marsh Creek

Basics of Building a Shelter

Participants will learn how to utilize materials in building small/large shelters for camping. 

Basics of Land Navigation

Participants will learn how to utilize a map and compass to get from point A to point B.

Cool Season Lawn Care for Beginners

This class will teach you best practices for cool season lawns.

Introduction to Vegetable Gardening

A class for Beginners to learn the basics of gardening including what you will need, your timeline, and how to start seeds indoors.

Hands-on Vegetable Gardening

This class will build upon “introduction to vegetable gardening”, including how to plant your seeds, how to space your crops, and when to water/fertilize.

Backyard Orchard Management

This class will focus on the basics of backyard orchard care.

Get Active with Marsh Creek

Basketball Skills Development

Drop-in class on Sundays 3-4 p.m.

This class focuses on the fundamental skills in basketball. Each day you attend is a separate class.

smALL Stars Toddler Sports

Class runs monthly.

A social sports class for toddlers to allow them to learn the basics of the sport and teamwork.

Soul Line Dance & Get Fit Class

Advanced

Designed for individuals who have previously taken soul-line dance classes and would like to advance their skills.

Let’s Ride! An Introduction to Bike Riding

This class will go through the basics of bike riding using Strider Balance Bikes.

Get Creative with Marsh Creek

Craft-ernoon

In the drop-in style class, we will provide the supplies and you will use your creativity to create beautiful masterpieces! 

Drum it Up!

8-week course on Thursday Nights

This class is geared toward beginners who would like to learn how to play the African Hand Drum (called a Djebe).

Jr. Engineers – Let’s Build

Class runs monthly.

In this class for ages 6-9, participants will test their skills while building different structures with household materials and the engineering design process.

Explore your senses with Pete the Cat

This class will use a Pete the Cat book to introduce sensory activities to participants.

Spring into the Garden

Spring Break camp for ages 8-12

Campers will spend time in the garden and orchard, make crafts, play games, and learn to cook what we’re growing.
