In an exciting announcement, Raleigh's Parks and Recreation department has revealed plans for the upcoming "May the 4th Glow-in-the-Dark Dodgeball Tournament." Scheduled for Saturday, May 4, the event promises a day filled with fun activities for all participants.
"Whether you are a member of the dark side, or a rebel scum, let’s join forces to unite in a fun-filled day of glow-in-the-dark dodgeball benefitting Raleigh’s Parks and Recreation’s financial assistance program," stated the organizers, encouraging individuals to come together for a good cause.
Participants are urged to "Grab your favorite droids and Wookies and register today" to secure their spots in the tournament. The event is open to individuals aged 18 years and older, with team registration priced at $160 for 5-8 players and $25 for individual entries. Additionally, each participant will receive a Glow-in-the-dark shirt as part of their registration.
Apart from the main dodgeball tournament, attendees can look forward to a range of activities including food trucks, music, games, crafts, and a costume contest. The event is set to take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering a full day of entertainment for all involved.
