"Gardening for Pollinators Event Encourages Planting for Pollinator Conservation"

Prepare your garden this spring by planting for pollinators. This was the message shared during an upcoming event focused on enhancing pollinator conservation efforts.

"During this program, you will learn how pollinators play an essential role in every ecosystem and what to plant to provide food and habitat for them," shared the event organizers.

The event aims to educate participants on the importance of pollinators and how individuals can contribute to their well-being. "At the end of the program, you will go home with the knowledge to start your pollinator garden and three plant starters for your garden," the organizers added.

It is important to note that "participants under 16 must be registered with an adult" for the event. The details of the event are as follows: "Date: Saturday, April 6, Time: 9 - 11 a.m., Ages: 14 and up, Cost: $10. Register on RecLink."

The event provides a valuable opportunity for individuals to learn about pollinators and take tangible steps towards creating a pollinator-friendly environment in their own gardens.
