In a recent announcement, a series of events titled "Kids Mountain Bike Rides" are set to take place every third Sunday this summer. The rides cater to youth aged 8-14 and offer an opportunity for outdoor adventure and skill-building on the trails.

Participants are encouraged to "register in advance, but drop-ins are welcome," ensuring that all interested individuals have a chance to join the fun. Safety is a top priority, with the requirement of "helmets and closed-toed shoes," while the presence of parents during the rides is noted as optional.

The importance of trail conditions is highlighted with the statement, "The ride is canceled if the trails are closed," ensuring that participants can enjoy a safe and optimal riding experience. The upcoming dates for the rides are scheduled for "Sundays - May 19, June 16, July 21, and Aug. 18," with each session running from "1:30 - 3 p.m."

Participation in these exciting mountain bike rides is free of charge, offering a cost-effective way for youths to engage in a healthy and thrilling outdoor activity. Those interested in taking part are advised to "register on RecLink" to secure their spot and receive further details about the event.
