The City's Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise Program and Wake County Public School System have officially announced the 25th Annual Small Business Expo, set to take place on June 14, 2024. The event aims to connect small business owners and minority and women-owned business enterprises to tangible resources and opportunities.

"Our goal is to connect small business owners and minority and women-owned business enterprises to tangible resources," stated the Small Business Expo organizers. The Expo will be held at the McKimmon Center, located at 1101 Gorman St, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m on June 14. According to the organizers, registration for the lunch and keynote speaker will open in mid-May.

The highlight of this year's Small Business Expo will be the keynote address delivered by James Montague, President of F7 International Development. Montague, a successful entrepreneur with roots in Southeast Raleigh, shared insights into his journey, mentioning, "When asked about the name of his company, F7 International Development, he explains that the “F” stands for Faith In Action."

Attendees can look forward to networking opportunities, connecting with local and state procurement and primary contractors, learning about available resources, and enjoying lunch during the event. The Information Expo will be open from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with registration not required for drop-in visitors seeking information.

Join us at the 25th Annual Small Business Expo for a day of networking, learning, and growth in the business community.
