Naturalists at the park are organizing a Tree ID Trek workshop to help participants learn how to identify common trees in the park. The workshop, scheduled for Sunday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., aims to equip attendees with the necessary knowledge and skills for tree identification.

According to the organizers, participants will have the opportunity to "learn features of tree ID that will help year-round," and the best part is that "no prior tree identification knowledge is necessary." Those who attend the workshop can also earn "2 hours criteria II or III EE credit upon request."

In order to participate, it is required that "Adult(s) must accompany participant(s) under 16, register, and pay the program fee." The workshop is open to individuals aged 12 and above, with a cost of $10 per participant. Interested individuals can register for the Tree ID Trek workshop on RecLink.

Don't miss this chance to enhance your knowledge of trees and explore the natural beauty of the park while learning valuable tree identification skills.
