The Parent Toddler Yoga series, an engaging program that combines age-appropriate yoga poses with imaginative adventures, delightful books, and music, is set to provide a unique opportunity for parents and caregivers to connect with their children. This interactive series encourages participants to embrace their playful side. Attendees will have the chance to hiss in cobra pose, bark in downward dog, and flutter their wings in butterfly pose. These activities aim not only to entertain but also to build strength, coordination, and balance. The classes are designed for children aged 3-5 years along with their parents or caregivers. Both adults and children are advised to wear comfortable clothes suitable for movement. The series will run on Saturdays from June 8 through June 29 at 11:15 a.m.
In addition to the Parent Toddler Yoga series, Family Tree Yoga classes are also being offered. These sessions provide an opportunity for parents, caregivers, and their children to strengthen family bonds through the practice of yoga. The class incorporates age-appropriate poses aimed at building confidence, partner poses that promote bonding, acroyoga exercises that foster trust, as well as fun yoga games designed to make learning enjoyable. Participants are encouraged to "reinforce your family’s roots while creating a strong and grounded practice that will last for years to come." All levels of yoga experience are welcome in these classes which cater to children aged 5-8 years old. Participants should dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat if available. These sessions will take place on Thursdays from May 30 through June 20 at 6:30 p.m.
