Raleigh Pride Ride' celebrates city's LGBTQ+ history

Raleigh Historic Sites and the LGBT Center of Raleigh are joining forces to present a 'Pride Ride' that celebrates the city's LGBTQ+ history. This tour will shed light on historic locations, neighborhoods, businesses, churches, and other significant points that have played a pivotal role in the evolution of Raleigh’s LGBTQ+ community.

In addition to the tour, the LGBT Center will set up an information booth where they will share details about their programs, resources, and the upcoming 12th annual Out! Raleigh Pride festival.

For those interested in attending or seeking more information, they are encouraged to contact the Mordecai Historic Park Visitor Center at 919-996-4364. The 'Pride Ride' is scheduled for Sunday, June 9 with tours taking place at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. The event is open to all ages and tickets are priced at $12 per person.
