Carolina Pines is set to host a vibrant Juneteenth celebration, promising an evening of entertainment and education. The event aims to blend enjoyment with enlightenment, featuring musical performances and sing-alongs, while also offering an educational segment on the history of Juneteenth and its significance in the local community.
The celebration is scheduled for Friday, June 14, from 8 to 10 p.m., with gates opening at 7:30 p.m. Although the event is primarily aimed at those aged 18 and up, a Kids Zone will be available for children between the ages of 5 and 12.
Entry to the event is free of charge. In case of inclement weather, the festivities will be moved indoors to the Carolina Pines Community Center.
