From June 15 through August 18, The Pope House will be conducting walking tours of the Third Ward. Participants will have the opportunity to explore one of Raleigh's oldest and most influential Black neighborhoods. Located near Shaw University, the Third Ward was historically a thriving community known for its culture, enterprise, and education.
The tours are free of charge, but registration is required.
Date: June 15 - August 18, 2024
Time: Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Sundays 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
