The Raleigh Yard Waste Center is set to implement new restrictions on the types of yard waste loads it will accept from commercial vendors and customers with large quantities. Effective July 1, 2024, the center will no longer accept pallets, any commercial load, or any load larger than a single axle, non-dumping utility trailer measuring 5 feet wide, 8 feet long, and 2 feet deep.

"We recommend commercial vendors investigate alternative options for dumping," stated a representative from the Yard Waste Center. The restructuring aims to enhance essential services provided to the Raleigh community.

Residential curbside collections will remain unaffected by these changes. Solid Waste Service customers with loads smaller than the specified size can continue to bring debris to the Yard Waste Center after July 1. Additionally, all products offered at the center will remain available for purchase.
