Registration is now open for the City’s Affordable Housing Summit, scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Raleigh Convention Center.
The summit offers Raleigh residents an opportunity to learn about affordable housing initiatives and explore innovative ideas to expand affordability in the community. Organizers aim to gather public input that will guide the City's efforts, including the new Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
"We are excited to gather public input and learn together about affordable housing," said a city representative. "The ideas and feedback we receive will guide the City's efforts."
For those seeking affordable housing, information can be found at Resources for Housing Crises and Homelessness or Find Affordable Housing.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Lunch, refreshments, childcare, and translation services will be provided at no cost. Those unable to attend in person can watch online via livestream on the City’s YouTube page without needing to register.
